Dear T&T Program,
Today, USA Gymnastics announced the cancellation of all remaining 2020 premier events, including USA Gymnastics Championships. We understand this news is difficult but this decision was made to help ensure that we all remain safe and healthy heading into 2021, and after carefully considering feedback provided by athletes, coaches, and medical professionals.
I want to provide some additional information on how this impacts the T&T Program specifically:
• 2020 Stars & Stripes Championships that was scheduled for July 9-11 in Utah has been cancelled.
• Athletes on the current JR and SR National Teams will remain on National Teams until 2021, with a re-ranking event in early 2021 likely to be an opportunity for additional athletes to be named.
• We are continually monitoring the feasibility of fall and winter camps (Jumpstart/EDP and National Team).
