Sarah Gandy
Sarah Gandy is a 15 year old born on July 29, 1992. Her hometown is Paris,
TX where she trains at Texas Tumbling & Trampoline Institute with her parents
Bill & Lisa Gandy. She not only loves gymnastics, but enjoys track &
field, band and art. She is also a straight A student in the 12th grade.
Her favorite events are trampoline and double mini. She is a Sr. Elite on DMT and
Jr. Elite onTR and is on the 2009 Sr. National Team for DMT
Her accomplishments so far include:
- 2004-2005: National Jump Start Team Member
- 2005: Regional Champion & Regional All-Star Team qualifier in DMT
and TU
- 2005: Finished 10th on DMT in World Age Games in The Netherlands
- 2006: Finished 4th at U.S. Championships on DMT
- 2007: Placed 1st on DMT at the Flemish National Championships in Belgium
- 2007: Placed 1st on DMT and Synchronized Trampoline at the Elite
Challenge
- 2007: Placed 2nd on DMT and 4th on TR at the U.S. Championships
- 2007: Qualified for both the DMT and TR World Age Games Teams
- 2007: Bronze Medalist at the World Age Games in Quebec City, Canada
- 2008: Named to the Jr. National DMT Team.
- 2009: Placed 1st at VISA Nationals on DMT
- 2009: Placed 2nd at the Final Selection Event on DMT
- 2009: Qualified for World Championships on DMT
